HISTORY

ANCIENT ORIGINS

The “Ca’ di Pietra” semi sparkling and sparkling wines are produced with the grapes from the vineyards of Vi.V.O. Agricola, a historic company in the wine-making overview, situated in the small village of Campodipietra, in the district of Salgareda.

The company was established in the 1970s by a family of businessmen from Treviso, who firmly relied on the teachings of the Oenological School in Conegliano, in order to identify the genetic and environmental variables which determine the quality of the grapes.

At a later time, in the 1980s, they decided to dedicate part of the vineyards to the production of sparkling wines, going towards a new market trend and making the most of the terroir’s potentialities.

Since 2016 the management of the Dogarina vineyards has been held by the Vi.V.O. Cantine Group, the most important cooperative in the wine-making area of the Eastern Veneto, not just in terms of turnover but also in terms of coverage, counting nine wine-making centres across the provinces of Treviso and Venice.

Under the management of the Vi.V.O. Cantine Group, Vi.V.O. Agricola has never stopped working to continually raise its standards of quality and the level of its production systems, with a constant focus on the latest technologies.

The excellence of “Ca’ di Pietra”, besides being immediately recognisable by its taste and nose thanks to the marked agro-floral notes, is proven and guaranteed by the BRC and IFS certifications.
